Performance: BMC air filters are designed and manufactured to provide higher airflow than original paper filters. For example in the F1, BMC fiberglass filters minimize the loss of airflow pressure passing through the filter. In this way they ensure the best conditions for full exploitation of maximum power. They are produced using the same technology and materials as the F1 air filters. Therefore, the benefits of replacing the original paper filter with the BMC fiberglass air filter are obvious.
Design and Materials: BMC's skilled engineers produce BMC air filters using advanced software, technical experts as well as the latest technologies. An F1 filter should be very light, made from the best raw materials and improve performance. For this reason only braided alloys with an epoxy coating are used to ensure protection against petrol fumes and oxidation due to air humidity. The filter material consists of a special cotton gauze impregnated with low viscosity oil to give you the best possible air permeability.
Advanced Technology: BMC's technical staff has developed a specific production system based on soft rubber molding, which produces the familiar red BMC filters. They are made in a single piece without welded joints in the corners, thus avoiding the risks of breakage. This system, called "Full Molding", comes from R&D at F1 and is important for the technical and quality characteristics of BMC air filters.
